They look good to me. My first few were about the same. It doesn't take much practice before they look as good as they smoke.

I smoked 2 of them so far.
Gave one to a good friend and BOTL to try out.

Great draw and didnt ever need a relight.
Blend is decent too.
I think I will try to roll just a hair tighter next time. Was being a little cautious trying to not tear the binder and wrapper.

I like what you've done! Btw, what kind of wrapper is that? I really like the red tint one, wouldn't mind getting some of that myself.

You can always practice on Secos as a wrapper, or any leaf for that matter.

Keep up the great work! Pretty soon, you'll be buying by the pound!

Lew Z, I am proud of what You posted on Your roll Sir. I think, with Your skills --You could beat My as* in a roll as well as ADZ. Now put some Brouthers grim in them and jet. Are You going to stay a while?? Dave is in as well as All of Us. We would love to have You here Sir. The only thing I can not do now is, smoke a cigar that is not a Cabana or smaller due to the two steal plates in My jaw. Just can't open the holder up- So I hold it and draw. LOL Now what I did not tell You was-- There is an explosion of bad boys here this season, and it's going to get real ripe.. I think it is going to be a- I couldn't help it just had to do it year, this time to Myself and others for 2015? Had some great pics and probs. , strange things as well this grow . Hum?? Say Gdaddy, I'v got two sticks to share. If You can tell what is in them- I will give You a silver eagle. Even webmost has not done it yet on the grims. Up for it? I think knucks may guess when they get there. Mad- They are common leaf and "I blend in stages" So, Up for the smoke?

Nope, no mold. I took advice posted on the forums here and am going to wait on a mold until my rolling improves. I have heard a mold allows beginners to make 10 pretty, but horrible smoking cigars at a time! *laughs...

I am thinking of making a quick single cigar mold though.. that way I still get feedback one cigar at a time, but can make them a bit prettier. As for now I am the only one who sees them so it doesn't matter much.

Ivar, a half piece of plain paper makes a good "mold". I originally read wrapping in newspaper, but did not want the possibility of ink leaching into my cigar.

After the binder, I roll it up in the paper, starting at the corner, not straight. Roll the paper wrapped cigar a few times as though tightening a scroll of paper, then a small piece of tape on the free corner of paper to prevent it unrolling. Allow to sit a half hour or more, then remove the paper and find a smooth " molded " cigar, ready for a nice neat wrapper leaf. I get a more uniform burn, since starting this technique. I don't smoke enough cigars of the same size to justify a mold. Plus if the cigar is a little thick or thin, it still gives good results; too big won't fit a mold, and too small the mold will be of little help.
