Gdaddy I keep going back and admiring that cigar and the band. I wish I had the putter knowledge and brains to make my own bands like that.
It looks great and tasty.

I sat and enjoyed one of my cigars today as I watched my 1 1/2yr old Lab pup chew up a branch he ripped from the butterfly bush. That dog will eat anything.
He now sneaks in under my seat at the cigar rolling and fly tying desk and sneaks a bit of scrap that falls to the floor. I don't know what he gets from it but he chews it a little then spits it back out onto the floor. What a nut.
I was very happy with how the cigar burned. Not 1 relight needed and the burn was even the whole way to the last 1 1/2in I just need to tweak the recipe as it just didn't have the complexity I wanted.
crilollo wrapper
PA binder
2-habano seco
1-flojo viso
1/2 criollo ligero
I don't know how I came up with that blend, I just wanted to experiment a little.
It is just missing something. But it burnt great.

The recipe needs a little tweaking tho.

Man that is burning perfectly.

An experiment to try would be to increase the ligero to one full leaf and reduce the Habano seco to 1 leaf. Increase the Flojo to fill in the rest. The Habano seco is very strong flavored and can over power the subtleties of the other tobacco. IMHO

You will love the plant and the smoke. Mad- I't takes out the bite and smooths out the heavy end on a stick.

They're looking pretty green at this stage, it doesn't look like there's any white ones in it. That might answer your question of the origin of the other from Chillard's thread? Have Little Dutch, Turkish Ishmir, and Sacred Cornplanter sprouting now, and the VA gold, Ergo Burley, and Black Mammoth are outside braving the elements.

The Turkish is IZMIR that You got from Me,( and will be green) They are a different plant of the same origin. Both great plants. I love the way they blend. Try to find an old comercial freezer with a good seal cheap for Your kiln. They are stainless, and look good out back. You can use it as a leaf humidoor as well. Look at Brown Thumbs and My grow blogs to see what to look for. GrgFinney is eyeballing a three door one now. Your late grow makes Me feel good that they are going so well. AZD's 2015 "HADES" grow and OPC's 2015"LAKE OF FIRE" grow. HA- HA! It goes with My AREA 51-15 grow.. Mad- Just some desert humor......

LOL, and you're closer to ROSWELL than I am friend :) They might have beamed up your monkey Avatar, and gave him a new tune to play! Just keep your Cigar box guitar away from him! Hmmm, I might be closer to area 51?

That's a good idea on the freezer. I do have a place I could put that, although my wife doesn't like to SEE clutter, I have a place out of site! (No, not area 51, maybe area 53 in my yard!)

Yeah, the trinity site is nukes, I'll stay out of there. Mineral specimens are more my thing.

Ok, back to topic! Haha!

The plants are doing well outside. Not sure what to do about the occasional stealth camouflage desert grasshopper. Have had 2 so far. Found the first one, he's gone. Now there's another, but can't seem to catch him, he flew away when I tried to grab him, but had a nice lunch on one of my leaves.
