how do i post a pic from my phone????

The title says it all...I have a Motorola moto-g

I've tried about all I know...unsuccessfully.

You have to have the picture stored on your phone as a file. When you click on the picture icon while creating a post, you'll be given the option to upload from your computer or from a URL. Select "computer" and then attach the file (picture).

How.do I.store.it.as.a.file...all my pics.are in my gallery...stupid questions but I'm totally lost.to technology

Transfer or download all your pics when you connect your phone to your computer.
Should not be to hard.........

I personally use and App called photobucket.
This backs up my pictures to the web.
I log into photobucket after they have been backed-up and select the picture I want to upload.
It will open the picture where you have a couple of link options on the right.
Email & IM / Direct / HTML / IMG

I select the IMG option and paste that in my message here.

It is much easier (for me anyway) to send a picture from my phone to my email address (email a picture to myself), then download it to my computer at home/office...then post it on the forum.

The issue is I don't have a computer right now..all I got is this phone.

I just posted a pic from my galaxy s5 chicken try pushing the button in the bottom corner that says insert inline worked for me

all I do is take the pic. Then when i'm ready to post, I click the pic icon. Select "from computer" if it's not already selected. Select choose file button, then tap "choose existing." it'll bring you to your photo roll. tap the one you want. tap upload file.


Tap the photo icon and tap choose file


Tap Choose existing


Pick a folder from your photo album


Tap the photo

The screen will go back to the first menu, tap upload file.


I have not figured out how to load multiple files at once in a post. I'm using google chrome, not sure if it's different on safari -- I'd recommend using chrome -- way better browser.

I use the autoresize app. for my I phone. It's free also.
I checked it don't work for chickens phone tho.

In all seriousness, I have one suggestion which works all the time: Get a 12 year old neighbor to show you how. Offer them candy.

Or get a grandchild to show you. They love showing you. It's easy for them.

Other than the candy joke, I this works every time, has been tested by many grandparents, the child loves to do it, it comes easy to them, do it.

I've tried that. the file always ends up too large and I have no idea how to edit it down . Chromebook isnt a PC ,lots of caveats
