Nice ... they look happy!![]()
Yes, I am just not sure what the spot is. I am trying to take extra care with the Düzce, Samsun- Madden, Costa-Rica 589, and the Semois. What does the Düzce taste like?Very healthy looking plants. Its hard to see but the spot almost looks as if the leaf was wet and then subject to high heat (sunburn).
All this talk of Duzce I pulled my crop out from 4 years ago and it is indeed a very tasty Turkish. I wasn't a big fan of it when I first grew it but 4 years did something magical to it.

wow, I looked at those pictures and them babies looked bad. I’m done with that fertilizer as well.I would avoid boutique fertilizer preparations.

While the N:K looks modest, how much is delivered to the plants depends on the dosing quantity and frequency. The diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (DTPA) chelating agent is a wild one to see here. I don't know what it does to seedlings, or what all it binds within the soil. Molybdenum impacts Manganese absorption--again, crazy stuff. There is no mention of pH on the label.
In the image page below, the Paul Bachi images show serious overfertilization of small seedlings. (Click on one, select Image Detail Page for a brief narrative.)

It's also possible that the necrotic patches represent a bacterial infection. But I can't tell.
So, all in all, I would agree with your plan to rescue them with new soil. Good luck.
