An Interesting Hjere-Brier pipe

I stumbled across this on eBay. The seller initially couldn't read the nomenclature, but I poked around on Pipedia, determined what it is, and sent it off to the seller.

Hjere-Brier Freehand Pipe

Pipedia is a little slim on the details. Anyone have any knowledge about these? Looks like a well-made pipe.
