That pa red will make some great cigar tobacco. Those huge leaves are a plus.

Looking very good. I was considering comstock spanish for later in 2015, but it seemed to be a very small plant. Your pics have confimed that... but i've heard it's really good cigar filler.

Jolly, Its not really that small comparing to my other varieties. I grow it mainly for a wrapper, very nice oily wrapper, so far the best I wrapper grew.

Thanks. I'll have to reconsider it.

May I suggest you Huehuetenango. It produced the biggest cigar leaves this year. Leaves were quite thick though.

Hmmm.....this interests me quite a bit. I Love the Prelep in Cigars, it blends so well with Cigar tobacco. Where is the seed available?

Prilep or Huehuetenango seeds ? Prilep is an Oriental from Macedonia but Huehuetenango is a cigar filler from Guatemala. I do have Huehuetenango seeds.

Tobacco really looking good. Busy topping and closing flower buds for seeds. Much better crop than last year, even Vuelta Abajo are taller and bigger leaves than last year. I`m smiling.
Cant wait for this crop, down to smoking the last scraps I have, some of them not to nice, but at least I smoke!!!
