After three weeks with NONE, I found a half dozen today. Guess second hatch is about to start.

Same here! Just about the time I started patting myself on the back for winning the war the little sneaks launched a sneak attack. They were all over the place yesterday. Gave the bud bags and leaf a good spray and then got a heavy rain this evening. (insert expletive here) I'll start spraying again tomorrow, I guess. I got some Orthene ordered for the aphids. I'm fighting a losing battle with the soapy water. I think Dawn and Ivory developed a soap resistant aphid so they could sell more soap, so I'm launching a chemical attack as soon as Amazon can get my Orthene here.

Cuttin the tres that was shadein the curein shed has helped them cure faster and the mid ribs have not been a problem. I haven't had to fire up the wood heater this year, yet.

When you box your leaf from the stalk are the midribs snap dry? In the pictures the stalk looks green. Do you dry the midrib in the boxes? Your color on the leaf is great.

If they even look like they ant dry I rip them out. The stalks will stay green along time after the ribs are dry. Never store leaves with ribs that ant dry. A little more on that. The ribs will take up moisture at nite and you do store them with that moisture in them. You have to know the diffrance.
