It's looking great Boboro. Burning all you can on top of the garden spot will help improve the soil when you till it in. That is one more nice track hoe for what you're using it for. I bet it gets in and out of those tight spaces real good. Perfect size.

You think the freeze danger will be over by the 15th? I sure hope so. I'm ready to get started myself.

Those seedlings are huge! You only started four days before I did. What's your secret? Some kind of Mississippi Mojo Mud?

heat, light, fertilizer, love

For me, the hardest part of clipping the seedlings is getting around to doing it. So I clip fairly aggressively when I do clip them.

Garden20120417_135_afterHaircut_300.jpg

(from my 2012 grow)

They recover an equal foliage within a week to 10 days, and the stalks and roots are heftier. I've never seen them overly stressed from the cutting. They just sigh, and grow more.

Bob

Seedling feels attacked when you clip them and begins to form nicotine, which is produced naturally in the roots. Therefore, initially amplify the root system to become tobacco. Right?

Boboro"s world is lookin good!

It sure does. What a great place you got there. Your plants needs one more clipping and two weeks at least. In my opinion.

I cant wait to start puttin plant in the ground. An they want out of them little cells.

Me too in both sentences.

Dammit, The grape vines leafed out and are blockin my sat dishes view of the SW sky.

old folks saying,

is that when the grape vine blossoms,,, winter is officially over,

ive heard it was pecan tree's,,, e.t.c.

but i was told by a old timer, that the pecan tree will lie to you,

but the grape vine, never blossoms, till it's over,

[ just some useless info. i have in my head ]

All I remember about growing grapes, the vines grow themselves; but if you want a good yield you MUST learn to PRUNE them properly.
