Been lucky on the hornworms so far. Found a few a day less than an inch last week. This week none. Guess they come in waves. Budworms otoh have been constant. A few a day.
IId keep an eye out, think they mite be flyin our way.
And then it rained. I hope they eat enuff to killem.I got a garden full of horn worms. Blue thu the bt, just kinda just turned the sprayer loose.
Yea. Chicken and his new backpack probably gonna scare'em all northward.
Still had a few worms, Mashed and sprayed. Tyed some bags on.Hot as hades, but with beer.
Fear not friend. There's lots of us little guys around too.Just watched the video - amazing amount of leaf there to come! And loved the sucker crop starting before the top leaves had come off.
I have to admit I couldn't understand a single word of what was said - even when the tractor was off - that's some thick accent you guys have got ... I'll have to get myself one of those linguaphone tapes to teach me how to speak southern properly. But for now I'll stick to reading the words here at FTT ... I can understand those!
I feel all inadequate with my tiny amount of plants and hanging space now!
Can you rig a second lower level in your shed? You might be able to double the amount you could hang.This row of virg. gold started to turn yellow before it got a lot of size and most of it wasnt primed.It was my first time to grow on this row.The dirt needs some work. Ive almost filled the stalkside of the shed. Ill finish it and prime some to hang in the other side.View attachment 6647.
