1700 Watts. I bet you could do an entire batch of Black Cavendish overnight. It seems like that will be tricky to regulate the chamber temperature. Interesting possibilities.

Well I picked up a couple pieces to give it a rough in trial try.
No controllers, transformers, relays, Until I found out how well she works.
She is a Steamer. I am happy with her. She is a keeper.
These things are big bucks but this is a Brand new older model a guy never installed.
160 bucks delivered on greed bay, I am Happy with Suzy Steamer, at least she puts out.

Through the fog, I think I can see that lack of humidity will not be a problem in your curing this year.

So you changed it to normally closed? What was the purpose of the hole in the flapper that is now filled with a plug?

It opens as needed not often, the plug keeps the R/h in. It was built for a furnace application.

I got the auto damper in and it worked but it took forever for the rh to come down when it opened.
So I found a fan and now it brings the rh Down to set point in no time. The fan comes on when damper opens.

Your garage is going to smell great pretty soon you will have a ton of beautiful leaf
It might smell good, but the leaf is a mess from the jap bettles.
You have some awesome looking Big leaf. I hope your cure goes well and don't forget to cover the ground with something Inside your fort.
Your right it is Nasty Out. Suckering in between sun and clouds.

I haven't seen a jap beetle in a long while. they sucked my tomatoes dry back in the 90's if I recall. They must have landed here and headed to cooler climes. I had never heard of or seen a snowy tree cricket till this year but they can chew holes in leaves like you wouldn't believe.
They are like a cross between a grass hopper and a mayfly. real soft body but nimble and quick. you can catch em easy but their numbers can be great.

The jap beetles have retreated I think and hope, they make a freaking Mess of the leaf.
Not a good day for the Chamber.
Had a Forth of July fireworks display in the control panel.
I Guess that is one way for checking out if you got her grounded properly.
Da, don't pull out controller to sharp edges of hole cut in box when adjusting controller calibration.
Oh well the circuit breaker works.
