Thank You, Bob. I must say I would think It it is a lot harder to get nice leaf out of the cozy can. You have it mastered.Damn fine looking leaf. And a lot of it. I may need to engineer a Cozy Dumpster.
Bob
Thank you, Don. But Down in the Baccy Cellar, There is a top shelf is reserved for your Baccy. You cannot get anyt better leaf than yours. I still buy it.Congratulations. That looks like some extra premium leaf.
Nice job
Thank you, DGBAMA. I will have to give that a try. I put that stick back into the kiln at the wilting step and then dry again to see what happens. You have got it figured out. Super.
I had some light green in my last batch, I put it out in full sun just to see if it would help..... Made a world of difference. 2 afternoons and it did not even look like the same batch. Turned out great.
Thank You. Yes it does make it look nicer. I am thinking about 125 pounds this year.Damn, I'm going to have to try that sunlight trick! It makes it look like great leaf. Do you think it will be 4 year old leaf by the time you finish it up?
I never checked how much I go thru. I will have to start keeping track.
I just found out my wife is a closet smoker. I thought she quit years ago when she had the kids.
I was wondering where my smokes were going. I thought I was loosing my Mind sometimes. I would leave a dozen in the carton container and come home and there would be two.![]()
Great year Tom. I think you have mastered you cure chamber. Your finished leaf would stand up to any I've seen. I have enjoyed looking at all your pictures this year. I think your steam machine was a great idea.Last load in. Top filled, one stick in the bottom.
Blew my back out pulling plastic up. so the harvest is over for me.
Not much left. Enough for the hornworms and aphids for a day or two.
