How long does it take during this processes? Curring correct?

until the mid-rib, will snap, and then it's best to continue to let them hang,,,

allthough, my shed, and the weather, we have had, i was noticing some mold issues, allthough i caught it,,,

but i gotta relocate a lot of baccy in the shed, so i decided, to throw, a lot of it that had colour

Im thinking of making one hear soon for my crop. Does it save alot of time instead of air drying. I also thought I could use it for fermentation just change up the heating and RH.

iml etting it ride, at 120 degrees, and 50% rh

the leaves were colour cured, before placing them in there,

my area, has had a lot of rain, and i caught, some mold issues, that were forming,

so after removing some bad leaves, i put the crop, in here, to keep the mold growth to ''0''

i have very much more, to put in there,

and then move the remaining crop, into the camper, where, this kiln is at.

last year, i had no issues, with air drying in my shed,

but this year is very wet.

next year. im gonna have a new shed built just for my baccy curing, and possibly have a pot bellied heater in there, to flue cure, all of it with,

Great to hear your mold issue hasn't ruined your crop. That would be bad to go through all the work and anticipation to see it get ruined.

My primed leaf started out great, then it became too humid (90% to 98%) and now down to 40%-60% and leaves are drying too fast. Seems the good weather lasts for only a little bit of time but the extremes last far too long.

My leaf that hung in the attic from fall till now smokes like a flue cured cig go figure. I wouldn't worry about the extremes

the kiln is doing real good,

ive got most of the burley, and siver river in there,

next will come the ottoman, and bursa, to load up,

and i have a lot of them leaves, a damn lot's<!!!!!!

i planted 24 of each type, and have found you dont need a lot of them plants to have a lot of leaves,

heres, my curing EXPERIMENATL, baccy stringing,

which has cured up nicely, but if i do this again, i'll be using wire, i had some leaf fall off the string

^^^^^^^ that is 95% all bursa, and ottoman

and the kiln is half loaded, taking pic's is difficult, in such tight area's.

chicken, It looks like your string is too fat and plastic. See if you can get a ball of butchers cotton string. Maybe your butcher will give you some to try. That's how I got my first ball. Now I buy it at the hardware store. I think it'll get rid of your "drop outs".

i agree, the string had a lot to do with it,

that's why i was thinking of thin '' electric fence'' type wire,

Yeah but it's a pain to tie and if a broken bit got into your shredder, GOODBYE ! I use a "cow hitch" ( you can google it) where the "post" is the leaf stem. It's a quick one hand knot and it is self tightening when the stems shrink. It can be tied as you go along without ever having to pull and end thru and when you get ready to "hand" your leaves it comes out easily and you can re-use the string.

If you want to talk about it PM me with your number. I'll drop the dime.

The string doesn't have to be very heavy. You could probably use cotton kite string. The three leaf hands are tied and the string basically hangs over the top of the stick.
There shouldn't be any wraps around the stick....(if I saw the video the right way)

well, today, im gonna hand up, a bunch of OTTOMAN, and BURSA,,,,

i have a lot, of these 2 strains,

at first i thought i may have built my kiln too big,

now, im starting to see that, it may fill up, perfectlly for the size crop i grew,

.....................

im gonna fill it with 3 rows, from top to bottom,
right now, i have 2 rows, so im gonna do some drilling, screw inserting, and string stringing<

and my baccy patch, still has a '' lot of leaf'' out there,

pic's of a half full kiln tonight,

well for the next 2 month's from what ive been told . the fertilizer business is damn near stopped,
so i may deliver some hay out to new mexico, and possiblly meet BAR g while out that way<

i fertilized my whole yard yeaterday, by '' pile'' of fertilizer, shovel, wheel-barrow, and 5 gallon bucket, and threw it by hand,

when the business, picks back up, that's when im gonna be in a truck by myself, doing it,

i been training this whole time,

during this slow down, time , im gonna get this older model, f9000 day cab ford, painted, and cleaned up, real good,

the truck is mechanically sound, and runs excellent, and has a cold a/c/

BUT IT'S UGLY TO LOOK AT<

hopefully my new boss { whom ive been riding with] will let me have my way, at decorating it,

i have been known to take a terd and turn it into a nice ride,

a project i did long time ago, MY 1978 DATSUN

fire, took that truck from me, it backfired and caught the air filter, on fire, and burned,

but as you can see, i can make a wild vehicle, outta, a normal vehicle,{ i miss that truck,and would make another in a heartbeat, i '' right now'' got my eyes, on a 78 datsun,}

perhaps, he will let me TRICK MY RIDE...lol
