You might need to line the stall with plastic and tape and make vents as required. With that much of a difference of humidity, between what you want and what you've got. Going too far in the other direction and adjusting back might be easier, I'll bet that the vents wont be that big.

Raining here today humidity up to 65% gave me a chance to check out some of my colour curing leaf. Little Dutch and Kentucky Burley is this what they should look like after 4 week's

My first year is coming up so I'll let someone else field that question. I did have a question of my own from looking at pictures farther up. Is it possible that the dry hay could be sucking up moisture needed for curing?

the leafs looking good, turning brown nicely. Some parts take longer such as the midrib due to the water retention.

Here is some picture's of leaf that i picked today. I have the row marked as maryland and i thought that maryland had a white midrib as you can see in the pictures the leaf that ihave there has no white midrib there for i think that it could be Kentucky Burley

Here's a picture of Keller (Maryland), the leaf on the right side from another plant is Catterton, also a Maryland. I hope it helps.

I had the same thing happen last year. I drew a chart of which varieties were planted where and a couple that were supposed to be Virginia had white stems so I considered them Burley. When reality conflicts with the map, go with reality.

Thank's i think i will have to put it into a blend mix. I seem to have that problem in some of my row's they are ment to be all one verity but seem to have different phenomenons. I wonder if this because they got cross pollinated at flowering time

That won't show up until you plant the seeds produced from cross pollination, it won't affect your current crop. You may consider topping your unbagged plants next year, the remaining leaves will get alot bigger after topping increasing your total yield. However, the downside is that is when they begin to sucker.

Colin,
Any of the seed you received from me was well bagged. But even within "pure" varietal seed that has been selfed, there are often small variations in the resulting plants.
