Just curious, what do you use MD609 in and how does it taste?
It’s a great blending tobacco, so I hear. I had some family seeds I grew years ago, and I’ll let one plant flower and keep the seeds. Last harvest (2019) I made cigars and pipe tobacco, this go around will be more pipe tobacco. I’m just not adventurous yet to buy seeds yet and different varieties. One day...

After air cured and kiln fermented, the Volado and seco were somewhat mild but the ligero was pretty heavy/spicy. I made some OK cigars, especially as gifts for the novelty of “I made this”. Binder and wrapper were even MD609. I’m looking forward to trying perique and pressure cooker cavendish this go around, and storing properly, without PG. I’ve done A LOT of reading

Into the ground they go. This is my method; I don’t know if it’s right or wrong but it works. I dig a channel, fill it with M-grow potting soil, put hardened, “trimmed” plants in a mound, and manually debug until harvest.
Hi, My experience is that right or wrong don't matter. If it works OK for you then it can't be too wrong. We all do things differently here, but, each one of us is doing the same things, sowing the seeds and raising the seedlings. Preparing the plot, planting out, and all the work that goes into the final product.
From each other we get different ideas. Good luck with your grow,
Oldfella
