Quit cigarettes a few years ago and started smoking cigars. I am about to try my hand at rolling my own whole leaf cigars. Came across this forum and figured I could get some valuable knowledge to help me with this new endeavor.

On a side note: My username has nothing to do with cannabis. It is a reference to mini reef aquariums.

Never considered growing tobacco. I do have a large front yard with full sunlight. Do deer eat tobacco? I live in the country and there are lots of deer roaming around.

They do not. (Maybe one bite, to determine that it's awful food.)

If you decide to grow tobacco in 2026, now is the time to obtain seed. You should start germination about 6-8 weeks prior to your last average frost date.
