We have rabbit for Easter dinner
You can build a rabbit box and relocate them. We did that at my father's house when raccoons were tearing up his trash and stuff. We moved them to a place my cousin coon hunts, but you can move the rabbits to a refuge type location. Wild rabbits are scarce around here due to the increase in the predator population and loss of habitat.
I relocate them bad boys right to the kitchen table. I also raise rabbits for meat. We cross Flemish giants with Californians and eat them at about six weeks.
That is a nice turnover time for some good eating.
If you have raised "meat chickens", check out McMurray Hatchery for the "Jumbo Cornish X Rock". Average seems to be 6-7 lbs DRESSED WEIGHT at 8-10 weeks.
Goat is from the venison family. It might have to make its way to the dinner tableAre there any blooms on your grapes? They look very healthy. I've never attempted garlic but maybe this fall. It looks perfect hanging there. My wife's goat got out of the pen and went straight to my grapes, Which had blooms hiding behind the lower leaves. The first ones. They have been in the ground about 2 1/2 years and (were) finally flowering. The goat ate the flowers and all it could reach. No flowers left!I told my wife if it touched the grape vines again I'd remove it from the equation. Well that's not exactly the way I said it!

Ontario is a white, seeded table grape. Buffalo is a purple, seeded table grape.what type grapes are you growing?
Yeah, yeah but can you smoke it?Ontario is a white, seeded table grape. Buffalo is a purple, seeded table grape.
After pruning the vines two days ago, I ended up with about 75 full grape leaves that had been removed. These were blanched in boiling water for a couple of minutes, then stacked and rolled, and placed into a quart jar. To this was added a hot citric acid solution (could have used lemon juice). Once it cooled, it went into the fridge, where it will rest for a month. This much leaf would cost several dollars at the store.
My usual use for them is to fill each grape leaf with a tablespoon of raw rice mixed with raw hamburger, and roll it up like an egg roll. These are then stacked in a pot with olive oil, lemon juice, tomato sauce, water enough for the rice, and usually a can of Great Northern Beans, and cooked for 1 hour. The citric pickled leaf gives it a distinctive taste. A similar dish is popular in Greece (dolmas) and Turkey (yaprak).
A fresh grape leaf can be added to a jar of pickles at the time of packing, so that the leaf's tannin can add crispness to the pickle.
So, no grapes yet, but harvesting grape leaves. The leaf from white grapes is lighter in color than leaf from the purple grape.

In the winter, when the tiny segments of grape vine have died and dried, you actually can smoke those. Of course, I haven't tried that since I was about 10 years old.Yeah, yeah but can you smoke it?
(Grin) For me it was corn silk. I much prefer what you taught me to rollIn the winter, when the tiny segments of grape vine have died and dried, you actually can smoke those. Of course, I haven't tried that since I was about 10 years old.Bob
