Rain Rain Go Away or I won’t get to plant until the end of May. I got some giant purple zinnias translated! My Sultan Albanian is up and I am waiting on the Corroho 99 and Connecticut Shade Leaf to pop. The float trays are working nice and the plants that were started indoors are thriving in the new greenhouse.B6C3BBE5-10BA-4E47-B189-EFB983B57C06.jpegFB3E9032-7B0F-4DA3-A41E-D7FAF803974F.jpeg21FE769C-5EFC-47D9-AD46-33CE9F720871.jpegCCDEB95E-43C8-4C60-9CDB-51570EC641A7.jpegBD21B64E-A42A-4AA2-8EF7-08092238EF5D.jpeg

A storm came through and blew my greenhouse over. It upset everything. However I have made an almost full recovery except for about forty zinnias and a few tobacco plants. I started the zinnias in my float trays. By the way are freaking awesome to use! I’m also starting my cigar leaf growing career this year lol. Corroho 99 and Connecticut shade leaf are up!!!BE7CDBEE-7A3A-4B12-A78D-D01BD06961D8.jpegEB50073B-686E-460D-91DB-09F5B06A256D.jpegBAB5BF0A-20F7-4758-9CAF-47E432B404B8.jpeg217F8A98-2217-4170-8372-E2878182CC32.jpeg0CB2B47F-A453-4774-BDF5-8B7ED0090A07.jpeg2EB7C1C9-E3F6-48D7-BD1E-F9C15E0B72EB.jpeg396B4BE7-D146-4E5C-82BD-6973231A7BB7.jpeg497CF5CE-C066-4C8B-B18D-F8F719F8445A.jpeg1FA735FB-DD5B-4346-BED7-1D72C3D0D591.jpeg0F0F6D7B-4577-4918-B9D2-79F2C9B4AAE7.jpeg

Man, that sucks! Glad you were able to make a (mostly) full recovery. I assume you are looking into some tie-down straps? ;)

The 40 mph winds here snapped off one of my eight tobaccos today. Talk about a blustery day. Now my harvest will be down at least 12.5%!

Best of luck - Steve

Wow! If all of those are "after" photos, then you've still got a lot of growing going on. I second the tie-downs. Like they say, what doesn't kill us makes us really pissed anyway.

Yes those are all after photos... Amazingly somehow everything in the float trays survived I just left the growing media as it was and put them back on floatation. I had to repot all the tomatoes and give them a serious haircut along with the tobacco. Stem and leaf damage was a heartbreaker.

I’m sorry for your loss of #8 having so few plants makes you feel the loss even more. That’s Mother Nature for you. Love her and hate her and hate to love her. LOL

West side of Indy here! That radar pic could have been from every day this week I think. Do they sell float trays big enough for full size plants?!

We finally had a break from the rain. I am slowly getting stuff in the ground tomatoes and peppers are out! And I am working on converting over to all raised beds.! I have a bunch of tobacco plants coming up from @BigBonner in a couple days. If you all need plants get with him!!! Plus I have some of my own that survived. This spring has been crazy but all my efforts are paying off.
