Very nice. It looks more like a "mount into", rather than a "mount on". Just a simple, wooden table frame (without a top) would work. The descending metal pivots will present an injury hazard for knees, and might benefit from some sort of guard.

Yes yes mount into. It was early lol. Good call on the knee guards especially as one of my options is a flip up typewriter desk. This would leave the pivots facing the user when desk is closed. For sure going to add some rubber “feet” to bottom of pivots then evaluate the condition of my knees after a few rolling sessions

Love it! and consider, you may recall these mounted at an angle on top as well as into the table giving leg clearance.
Interesting. I didnt notice this. Makes good sense though.

once again thanks for all the help. Couldnt have made either of these machines without you. Next up is a foot operated model i think. I probably have some other projects to get on first so i may just mod the mach L to have a foot lever.
