Would anyone possible be down to help a newer tobacco grower out with some seeds
Really wanting to try my hand at growing some stuff now that its warm but dont have the cash to get multiple varieties and also not really sure which ones to get that would grow here by me.
Thanks everyone I appreciate you

You can successfully grow any variety of tobacco in your location. Tobacco is grown commercially in Wisconsin, the Andes and in Nepal. So don't worry about that aspect.

For cigarettes, consider growing 3 varieties:
  • any flue-cure ("Virginia")
  • any Oriental
  • any burley
Plan to sun-cure the Virginia and Oriental, and air-cure (in shade) the burley.

For cigars, you can make do with a single variety (e.g. Corojo 99) for wrapper, binder and filler. These are air-cured.

For pipe blends, you can go with the same as for cigarettes, perhaps with the addition of any dark air-cured variety.

Also, be sure to read the New Growers' FAQ, linked in the menu bar. You will be starting very late in the season, but the good news is that an increasingly likely "Super El Niño" may prolong your growing season.
