Sad news on the farm, looks like it is going to be a sad June as we lost the baby, God rest her soul and we'll see her in Heaven some day.

Not much to update on the tobacco, it's just aging in the barn. Haven't done anymore work on the kiln, been mostly working on getting the wood burning furnace up and going, installing new seals on the doors, sealing up windows that the contractor neglected a couple years ago etc.

Cheers

Really sorry to hear the bad news - I hope you and your lady are OK.

Heres hoping that fate deals you a bumper hand next year after such a bad deal.

I appreciate the prayers folks, it's been a tough time dealing with, we had a small, personal funeral for her and have been taking it day by day. Today would have been the doctor's check up as well as first ultrasound to see the baby's face and such.

It was a source of closure being able to see the very tiny baby on the ultrasound the day we lost her as well.

Truly one of the most difficult things I have ever gone through in my entire life. It's amazing how quickly one can become attached to a baby you never met. You make this false (no, not false, imaginary) line of memories you "had" with it. Holding it as a youngster, exploring the woods with them, seeing their excitement and curiosity and sense of imagination and innocence.

We stick true to our faith and will never stop loving her or remembering our daughter. As a sense of closure yet again we named her, June.

My Life is insane, I should write a book

Well, the farm is coming to a slow spot. Got all the equipment in the storage barn and focus on cutting wood, aging the tobacco and finding small air leaks in the house and sealing them up before the next snow. I also just set up the office to be the new headquarters for the business. On the east side of the room is my wall sized bookshelf with every book I ever reference or read, on the west I have the filing cabinet, the roll top desk, the storage crates and a heavy oak shelf storing all of the soon to be sold products that I keep in medium case as well as other items we sell.

On a personal note, I'll be gaining a few new farm hands in about 8 months.....

The odd thing, I'll have to wait for them to get older....

The wife is pregnant again (following our miscarriage last month) I know it's soon, but that's not the biggest surprise...see below.

If you can see it clearly, from left to right we have baby C, Baby B and baby A. Yup, triplets.

I swear folks, Life never stops being interesting....

Thanks all!

Still working on the destemmer, and I apologize to all potential customers. I will continue working on it but uh...time is short, the wife will be on bed rest in just a few short months, which means working even more for me (60 hour work weeks plus farm work).

I'll keep working on it!

Knucks, I did grow some this year that I'm more than happy to use on cigars, and I'm sure it'll get used!

LOL... as a father and now empty nester (thank God) and a grandpa I was having a little fun with the de-stemmer. However with triplets coming all income is good income :0 God Bless and I hope and pray all goes well. My wife and I went through 2 miscarriages before we had our two so I have a bit of understanding.
