The design looks to me like it would cause mold in the leaves in the middle of the tube...or maybe that's why they let them dry a little before shoving them in the tube??

Yeah, I would think the inside leaves ferment more than cure

Knucklehead has been holding out on us, he's been using bud bags to do something similar. It's a pretty slick way of doing it if it works well. I wonder how hard it is to get the leaves out of the tube after curing.

Burn them out !

wouldn't it be easier to have tunnels or tents with plastic sheet on the ground and turn the leaves every 2-3 days with a small motorised hay rake ?
