You are right Bob, but remember if I can get it figured out the heater will be outside the kiln.

Got sidetracked and charged off in a different direction. Anyway it's all rainy and windy here today so I spent it making leaf hanging thingys.



Not very good pics you can get the gist. Found a pile of stainless steel clothes Peg's they should be OK in the kiln. In theory I will be able to get about 5-600 leaves in there.

Gotta hell of a lot of rain overnight, well for us any way, 1.5 inches filled the drains up. Got close to the Kilning shed, but it's all good.

There ya go.shoud give something to look at. Sleep time for me, now we moved to daylight savings last night. So it'll probably take me a week to get used to it.

Good to see other countries besides America torment their citizens with daylight savings time. Us northern hemisphere folk should be getting off daylight savings soon. The weather is getting cooler and mosquitoes are dying back to almost normal. The sun is falling back almost two hours now. My baccy plants that aren't supposed to be photosensitive seem to agree that it's time for a last ditch flowering effort - they know better than me for planting so late

I'm putting my chickens to work preparing next years planting bed this winter. Have you ever employed your chickens for manual labor like that or does their union only allow blue collar jobs like kiln inspectors?

Got Electrical guys in to do the wireing.
Looks like they have got it sorted. Now for the rest.


There ya go. Complete rebuild of the power plant, should be good for a zillion years.

Now choose No: 1 as the main electric generator.

Oldfella, I was just joking about you making a flying kiln. Looking at all this I'm starting to think you are going to accomplish it though

I like to tinker. All kind of things can happen. Watch this space. My kiln building daughter had to go home now so the build is on mini hold. She's completing a plumber and Gas fitters course, very practical.

Update for today, I've decided to rebuild the nuke reactor.aka fan motor. (Clever disguise). This is going increase the power output and give me an incredible speed at warp speed 3.

And that is where we are up to Tonite. Astro-chickens will love it. It's all good fun anyway. Over to my grow blog now, musint neglect it.

Dilithium Crystals, while more expensive, are safer and can attain short bursts of warp 10. Highly recommend.
