The mailman dropped a package in the old box today courtesy of webmost. They look great and I look forward to firing them up Sir. I think I am getting the better end of this deal. Mine look mighty rough compared to these perfectos.
Shoot me a PM with your addy and I will get the return fire in the mail tomorrow. The handwriting on the box is almost as good as mine;)

I think you musta used a wrinklecam.
Thought I sent you smoother sticks than that.

I need more practice.

Tangential lighting. You can see the shadow on the right side of the lighter. They are beautiful cigars.

Plan B is to air-brush the texture of the wrapper in the photo, like all the cigar websites are doing now.

I think you are being to hard on yourself webmost. They look great to me and better looking than the sticks I am rolling now.

Are they the same blend with different "labels" or two different blends? I really want to fire one up but the weather today may not cooperate. There are some mighty dark clouds on the horizon and flash food warnings have been issued.

The uncapped pair with a logo on a dark patch are habano 2000 wrapper over dominican binder enclosing four half leaves criollo 98 and one half leaf piloto cubano viso.

The capped pair with lighter logo are the same with sumatra binder.

The uncapped are better aged and ready to smoke. The other two are fresh, and prolly need a few weeks to shine.

Thanks for the info. I will fire up one of each next weekend and then again this fall.

I had a little time last night so I took the opportunity to fire up a webmost perfecto special. The cigar clipped nicely and the cold draw was tight but doable. After lighting up the draw got really tight but once I got about 1/4 of an inch in the draw opened up without turning into a wind tunnel. The burn was great and only needed one minor touch up at about the 2/3 mark.

The flavors were very good. I won't try to describe them because I'm not good at it but I found it to be very enjoyable. The cigar was not dark or heavy in the flavor spectrum, very different (better) than what I am rolling right now. It falls right square into the medium range with nice smoke output.

If you every end up with too many in stock feel free to send them my way. I'll smoke em.

That tightness is completely true and a known issue. I am working now on a strategy to round up the heads. I want the heads to be fuller, look different from the feet. Once I have developed a technique for that, next on my list is a way to make the more tapered foot looser. It gets pinched in so tight that you get a tight draw at first light.

Had planned to hit up your #2 last night; but then a guy who owed me for some web work sent me a box of Don Benigno in payment, so I just had to fire up one of those gems. Holycrap. Da Vinci himself could not make a better cigar. Just wish I could afford them.

But then, that were the case, I wouldn't be having so much fun rolling them.

So last night I had a chance to fire up another webmost perfecto special (sorry no picture). This time I grabbed one of the ones with the lighter logo.

Construction was the same as last time, a tight start but it opened up to a perfect draw after a 1/4" in. No need for touch-ups or a re-light. I liked this one a little more than the other. The Sumatra binder definitely adds something to the flavor that I find appealing. It is subtle however and you wouldn't be able to pick it out if the blend was stronger.

I am going to let the last to sticks sit until next spring and see if that changes the flavor in a major way. My guess would be no.

Thanks again.
