Ph of Oriental varieties

I'm on an Oriental kick currently!

What is the opinion about the Ph of Oriental varieties? I mean in context of being traditionally sun cured. I imagine it may be a little more acidic from the heat of the sun somewhat creating a flue cure effect?

Even when air cured (that's how I cured my Orientals) the flavor is more like an acidic tobacco. Very smooth when inhaled, in other words, unlike the harsher effects of the higher pH kinds.

Makes sense Don, sounds on par with my experience too. But I would venture to guess that it isn't as high in sugar as a flue cure, for obvious reasons.
