Finished up a batch of 20 of the R.O’B. Blend:

Put together a blend with leaf that was sent to me from a BOTL in a different cigar group. A few puro/puritos:

*Not pictured* A dozen or two short/long fill smokes of random ratios of left over leaf from my “scrap bags”.

I decided to get with it and try my hand at twisting up some of the scrappy bits and pieces of some of my air cured leaves. They fit this old box I saved from 30+ years ago well enough for now.

Flat-pressed cigar.

I had placed leaf into bags on the counter, awaiting rehydration. I did not label them, and I have forgotten their identities. From the appearance of the filler, I believe that it is half WLT Criollo 98, and half home-grown Corojo 99. I used a half-leaf of the presumed Criollo98 as a binder. I don't know what the lovely wrapper is.

Once rolled, the cigar was simply pressed beneath the cutting board for a few hours.

I really like the way that pressed cigar looks. Have you smoked it yet?

My first own homemade cigar! The filler contains piloto and criollo98, binder is criollo98 and wrapper is criollo 98. Absolutely loved it! Very sweet flavour profile. Could have done with being a little more filled out but its my first attempt at rolling my own with homemade leaf. Really proud of it!
