One was slightly under filled, so I decided to cull it from the humidor. This is a great all around blend. Medium strength and flavor, very smooth, no harshness, and perfectly balanced. I called this blend Moon Shot.

All 12 grams and left right placement. From the center in leaf, 0.33 ASP. 0.5 PA ligero, 0.5 Peru ligero, 0.5 PA viso and 1.25 Peru seco fillers. Dom/VA binders.Corona wrappers have inner VA binders and La Rosa has Dom binder inside. Two Olor wrappers.

That sounds like a terrible scale, Bob. Cro-Magnons probably had more accurate scales.

First ever roll! Just got WLT's Oscuro y Rico blend in the mail today and rolled up a cigarillo. A very lumpy first try, but the it smells heavenly and I'm looking forward to trying it out. Many thanks to everyone here for sharing their collective knowledge - learning the ropes has been a lot of fun so far.

Check the weather dummy!
I rolled these four cigars today while brewing a new batch of beer. I usually do this in my garage in the fall as it keeps a fairly even temp in the right range for a crisp ale. I brew lagers in the winter.
Anywho, I’ve got the garage open for the lovely weather and natural light. I take my perfectly cased tobacco out of their bags and stack for rolling. As I start to bunch, the leaf starts cracking! What’s going on? The binder and wrapper leaf are tearing like mad. I stop at four cigars to assess what’s going on. Lumpy, ugly cigars. I give it up for a bad day. Then I glance at the weather station. Bingo! Humidity - 15%!
This blend will be named “The old fart special”.
Equal parts Corojo seco, criollo viso, CVVAH Ligero, Pelo d’ Oro Ligero, double Sumatra binder, corojo obscuro wrapper.

Ok. First roll ever.. Please remember that a time you were not a good roller ...
Full of building mistakes and an overall uncomfortable sensation only bound to a missing skill. But it will fade.
Target is a 44x7 (I've a mold). Going with GDaddy's teaching (entubado) and the amount of info on the forum. I've used 2 seco , 1 Ligero, 1 Binder, 1/2 wrapper.
The leftmost is the very first, maybe too much amount of material. In the second I've lowered a bit and looks better (to me)

I made a couple 42s this afternoon. The pigtailed one is bound with Fire Cured, with lessons applied from the time I used it as binder so it’s a little smoother. Both cigars have 1 Corojo 98 ligero and threeish Corojo seco as filler (the capped one is VA binder). I’ve been using paper to even things out and I’m happy with the results. Also, I made a cheroot with Paraguay flojo seco as filler.

While waiting until Sunday to smoke my first 'official' cigar, I've assembled this one with the short fillers I'm getting from cutting, trimming, etc.
Only Binder, no wrapper, mix of all the stuff. Had to try it out.
Beeing used to Italian Toscano - like I have to admit that it is good, spicy and even medium strong
Too loose rolling so after 1/3 it exploded ... it was nice.

Trying out the Brazilian Bahia 2013 wrapper I just got, rolled at work. I don't think I've had anything easier to work with.
3.5 Pelo de Oro seco, (incl. 1 used as double binder)
1 CV Vuelta Abajo Habano ligero

What is innovation if not a continuum of trial and mistakes to find out what works for you? WOW after this, I can go to sleep.
I'm in the need of labeling my work. So why not put in a label a lot of info? Like recipe (W, B, S, V and L plus qty) when built, dedications etc etc. So why not use a QRCode?
Actual dimension is too big for the phone's app to read well. I will try to reduce to maximum (2cm) and see if curve is a concern.
But if you read the labels on the table ... you will see
Still rolling the first WLT kit but almost finished (14 sticks and other 4 going). Obviously hand-brain connection is just a baby but videos on the forum are a real accelerator.

Roll two, smoke two.
Both are Brazil Bahia 2013 wrapper, Olor binder, 1 CV Vuelta Abajo Habano ligero, & 1.5 Criollo 98 viso, but one has 2 Peru seco, and the other has 2 Pelo de Oro seco.

This plump cigar is wrapped in WLT Ecuador Cameroon. The binder is a scrap of CT Broadleaf. Filler consists of 1 leaf of WLT Peru Ligero and 4 leaves of home-grown Corojo 99 (a couple darkish, a couple lightish). My laptop is on my knees, as I enjoy the 1-2 hours of habitable outdoor weather on my porch today.
[That curious scrap of paper taped beneath the screen allows me to enter ALT codes for non-English characters: ñ—©¶¡¿°.]
