I think you'll find that most rustica varieties sucker wildly, and do everything in their power to bloom, regardless of your efforts.

Got around a 1000 Liters of wellburned cowmanure dropped just outside one of my lota yesterday evening.
I loaded it out on his sort of farm and helped him wash of the trailer afterwards , so it wasn't deliverd just like that.....
Today the pile had to be moved into the lot by me and a wheelbarrow and took a few hours to do.
Have never in my entire life seen so many worms concentrated in one spot like in this pile of manure.

Everything is going to grow to get away from it!

How excactly do you mean leverhead ?

It sounds like he was joking about it. It's a big pile of chit. Lol. On the human side of it, we want to get away from it - chit.

I wish I had that pile in my garden spot. Can you throw it far enough to land it here? Looks like some good chit!

Good luck with your grow and make sure to have much fun with it.

At first site, It looked as if that was an arm laying on the ground. The shadow obscures it a bit to make it look like it one long piece (gloves).

Yeah , its a big pile of shit and I'm gonna drill up to 3 feet deep holes and stuff the holes with mostly all of this shit .
Hope it will make wonders on the plants and especially the leaves.
If the all the birds around this ground finds out about the worms they could have a real feast since there is thousands of'em in the pile.
Might be some leftovers and that I'll use more on the surface or just below.

I was hoping they will grow into it and absolut flourish from all the nutrition , kinda muddy out there now since we have frost overnight which melts after breakfast.
Heard today that there is coming in snow here next week , but I hope it wont , this week has been a delight with temps at up to 15 C by midday.
I agree, I like the the smell too....
Grassclippings in waterbarrels had a ver nice smell too , stablelike and all the small bugs and flyies loved it.

Sounds good to me. Those worms will keep working for you if you bury them with the mix. The worms you pull out of the ground here break when you try to put them on fishing hooks. When I lived in my home state (Michigan), they were perfect for fishing. Nice drill bit you got there.

I'm going to buy a few boxes of red wigglers to put in my compost pile. They'll help to break it down and I'll always know where to get some worms when I get ready to catch a mess of bream. Worms have gotten ridiculously expensive around here. Last year they were $3.00/box and you only got 20-30 worms. Back in the good old days you got a full box of worms with a little dirt thrown in.

Yes, you are correct in saying that. They have gotten ridiculously expensive. There is one thing you can do to attract the good ones. Pick a spot where it's grassy and throw some manure and your grass clippings (mixed up a bit). The babies that grow in it will be nice and soft (easy to place on the hook kind of soft). I used to stop on the side of a hill by a church where I fished and pick them out. This is where they threw the grass clippings. And yep, the only ones that I'd catch with them was Bream. But yeah, get some wigglers and throw em in.

Check your horse manure knucks, you'll probably have tons of them in there. horse manure thats composted for a year or better usually has red wigglers in them. I had a ton of them in my manure last year. I think they were the main reason why the grass which I over layed with the manure, was gone so quickly.

PoGreen, wishing you a good grow for the 2014 season.

Good luck with the grow.

Will be interesting to see how deep the roots will go in the holes.
