This is how my patch looked like when I finished drillin'.....
Now its pretty different when loosened up a bit to be able to take in some oxygen ......

Apart from that , its growin' pretty good in my window I'd say , some varieties better than others just like it should be , some even outgrowing the cups I use.
I lowered my upper shelf tryin to give them plants some more light.
Weather here has gone from GOOD to Bad , with lower temps and rain as well , still waitin for spring to come......

Your seedlings look great. Your patch is looking lonely without some green sprouts in the holes. We'll get there one day.

Thank you BT.
I don't think I dare giving them a haircut , maybe I'll try on a few....
See what u mean 'bout the holes , have them just cause I love to water the plants in a crater , feels right for me and it has gotten to be a fix idea.......

Too bad that we have soo low temps as of 10 days now , would have liked to take'em out for a few hours every day and harden them , but with just 40 F it doesn't feel relly right.....
Could be that this season will be delayed a bit .
The sky is just grey , its raining a bit and it looks like its going to keep on being this type of weather for a while.
My tabacums is developing better than my rusticas , one exception is the GC 1 which still is one of my best plants overall.

= GC 1 after 40 days

Little Brother, that was some advice BigBonner gave me last year. He said I could move them outside when night time temperatures were above 40F. He also said I could leave them out if I covered them with plastic at night. I have mine outside now to harden off. I'm going to try not to scald them like I did a couple of weeks ago. Slow and easy.

Just gave them an hour and a half , most of them didn't seem to like it too much.....

Now they're in on the shelves again.

That looks like a good place to put them out at. A warm wall and walk. It got below 40 deg. on My trays week befor last- I covered them with burlap and they were fine. Nice plants. I like Your match stick trick.

Yeah its a pretty good place to place'em at , but there was a bit of a breeze and about 50 in the shade and that was not enough for them so they got sloppy and saggy.....
The match stick trick as you say is just a way to try and keep it upright instead of replant it........sort of sloppy too LOL.
Some of the rusticas need some kind of boost as I see it , see what I can do.

Be aware the in some Country's in Europe rusticas and glauca are illegal in Portugal both are, because they are considered invasive plants

Here in Sweden one can grow how much bacca one wants to and any kind of varietiy you like too.
Hope it will stay that way.
This week the the goverment annoused an 11 % increase increase of the tax upon snus , becoming a reality this fall I guess. The new price of a can of snus will be about 9 bucks.
Bad for the folks who have to buy that snus , I'll make a batch of snus with Don's Dark Air Cured tomorrow I guess.Takes a week for me to make , then I let it rest for a week or 2.
