There's a pic of the Thuoc Lao in JP's Grow Blog. Interesting looking plant. Definitely not a Rustica.

Yep look at my most recent post of the grow log, it is the third picture. Kind of reminiscent of boskkipal or little Dutch but there are some noticeable differences in size color and shape. It's a fascinating variety which I have had the pleasure to smoke, I hope more surfaces on thuoc Lao in the future

It was definitely very strong with a unique flowery taste. Not a rustica or clearly tabacum taste, but this really nice floral note. Not like Turkish where it is perfumey. I smoked it straight in a Native American pipe with no waters and I had no probem inhaling but it does have a noticeable throat hit. I wish I could get my hands on more of it but I will see how mine compares and maybe I won't have to get farther than the garden for it in the future!

Maybe it's like a Sumatra mixed with a strong blend?
