I always hang my plants whole stalk, regardless of variety, and I always pick the leaves off when they turn brown (sometimes even when they are just yellow), and let them dry on a net where it is airy. The times I have gotten mold on the leaves are when I have picked the brown leaves off too late. Of course it depends on how humid the air is, and here in my area the relative humidity (RH) in the autumn is usually over 80-90%

Yesterday, due to problems in the power grid, for obvious reasons, they began to cut off the electricity. So far, once a day for 3.5 hours. The temperature in the kiln dropped to 31°C by the end of the third hour. In the greenhouse, it dropped to 16°C. The tobacco leaves on the stems, which I hung in the barn, began to turn yellow rapidly. The temperature is around 20°C, and the humidity is around 40%. I hope for the best.

The tobacco leaves in my “greenhouse” have dried out. The humidity in the greenhouse has dropped to 32%. The weather forecast predicts rain tomorrow, so I took some of the leaves outside to moisten them. It is cloudy outside, and the humidity is about 70%. There are almost a thousand tobacco leaves in one photo, which is about 40% of those still hanging in the greenhouse.
