Sorry to say it but this thread passed my pay grade about 25 posts ago. Have fun. I will watch from the sidelines but don't understand much of it.

Hey, That sounds like when I learned to determine the btu per pound per hour of a light bulb in a walk in cooler. LOL. Now I plug in all the numbers and an app. on my phone does it for me. Next you'll be able to take a picture with your phones camera, of a slice of plant stalk, and it will be able to show you The genetic code.
somewhere i have a list that shows that with each round of selfing on an F1, the percentage of ****zygosity in the genome. i'll try to find it for you guys. its been too long since i took the class to recall the theories used in order to calculate it out myself, but it is a widely known set of stats amongst plant breeders.

this is the wiki page for zygosity (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zygosity) which has to do with the parentage of your genes and whether the copies you inherited from your parents are identical or not. if all copies of a genetic locus are identical then you are homozygous at that location. as you inbreed, it increases that amount of homozygosity throughout the entire genome.

Probably. We mustent hurt feelings. LOL
Yeah, I get a kick out of the filters in place in our society. You can type murder, rape, torture, beat, whip, bludgeon but any mention of anything regarding sexual preferences etc. is filtered. We seem to have an odd value system.

ADMIN: If this is deemed political delete it -- no hard feelings

I was told by a britt. the other day that they were teaching in primary school, A manhole cover now has to be called a person hole cover! It's official, I'm now one of the last people on earth that has some common sense.

The bottom leaves are getting ripe pick them quick.

you must be new to this particular thread. there is no leaf harvesting in my nursery. it is for seed production only. this is an official grow out for the tobacco seed that is distributed via usda-ars-grin.

And here begins the end of the beloved "MANcave".

Sorry to get off topic.
