Well I am trying my hand out at growing some tobacco. I have 2 hoop houses that I’ll be growing them in. I have 1 row 40 foot x 3 foot and 30 foot x 3 foot so I’m hoping to have around 35 or so plants unless I can fit more in there! I have Connecticut shade and Connecticut broadleaf that I will be trying to grow.

So I got my seed today (yes I know late) but I am going to do my best! I have the soil pre wet and humidity dome ready. I sprinkled seed on top and misted afterwards to get a nice moist seed.

Lastly I put them outside today during the warmth and have them inside at night for now. I have some chicks going with a heat lamp so I have these seeds adjacent to them and the hood is sitting around 82-84 degrees which I have to think is a solid temperature for germination and growth.

Open to any ideas / help as I need a lot of it. I do have some pole barns for drying later on but I am
Nervous about humidity and mold etc. more to read and learn before I get there!

If you have a fan on moving the air about and the leaves/stalks (depending on how you harvest) spaced out when curing, the mold shouldn't be too much of an issue. Its the low humidity and high temps that you normally have to worry about as your leaves can dry green and be very unpleasant to smoke (unless you like candela wrapper). Have a root around the main forum page and read through different grow blogs and curing methods to expand your knowledge. Theres an absolutely humongous amount of knowledge on this forum, Its insane!

Good luck with your grow!
