Set up my containers today. It was brutally hot and humid outside. Looks like I'll be able to transplant these in a week or so.

Transplanted 40 Little Dutch seedlings early this morning before it got too hot. All the plugs were fully rooted, so I shouldn't have problems with shock.

2 weeks from transplant. After taking these photos, I pruned off 2-4 of the bottom leaves. These usually turn out to be junk anyway and it makes it easier for me to feed and water.

Looks good. I tend to do the same thing these days—removing some of the lowest leaves early on—since they usually just end up as waste that gets thrown away later anyway.

For those who use some of their tobacco for making cigars, that "trash" leaf at the bottom of the plant, though offering minimal strength and minimal aroma, can nonetheless enhance combustibility. While strength increases from the bottom of the plant toward the top, combustion is just the opposite.

4 weeks from transplant. I had an infestation of hornworms last week, sprayed with BT. I have one odd looking specimen with curled up leaf edges; it doesn't look unhealthy in any other way.

Your last image, of the abnormal leaves, vaguely looks like an early virus infection (TMV, CMV, etc.). If the curling or mottling seem to progress, I would be inclined to move that plant away from the others, for observation.

I took a few pics of a Green Lynx Spider on one of my plants; I've been seeing it for the last few days. Hopefully, he or she is doing some good work at pest control. I believe my plants are about to bloom; it's very early for it, as they're only at about 5 weeks from transplant.

How many of them want to bloom? I'm still waiting on one (out of three) of my Corojo to bloom. It gets taller and taller with nary a button.

How many of them want to bloom?

I counted 8 out of 39, with a definite button. BTW, my spider is still hanging out on the same plant, leads me to believe that it's a female guarding a hidden egg sac.
