After fully color-curing, all tobacco can be kilned (fermented) effectively with 6 to 8 weeks at temps between 123°F and 128°F in high humidity. Above 122°F, mold cannot grow. Below that, mold, which is ubiquitous, may ruin your tobacco.

Does the thickness of the leaf change the temperature? I have read samsun canik is thin compared to Swedish Ahus and L'Assumption. I assume the humidity becomes less of a factor the higher the tempature is?

Thicker leaves may increase the humidity in the 1st week or so when sweating/fermenting. The amount will obviously vary depending on the amount of leaves you kiln at one time

Kilning will change the color. I’ve had leaves like that turn gold to dark brown. I’ve also had them stay green. It’s worth a try.
