I don't think it makes much difference. The pros have tall barns and hang from top to bottom as a matter of convenience.

Maybe put up a couple thremometers......one high and one low; and see which one holds a better curing temperature for your area. If you need the space, use high and low.

The bottom will have to have plictic put on the cilin. If I use the top I mite fall down the stair openin.

i have no clue how much it would take to stock me up all year,,

this last batch i had a lot of help smokin it, and run out, and was forced to purchase ,,what im smoking right now, [ big bonnner got some good bacca leaf 4-sure ]]]

but this year im growin a lot of baccy,,,, so hopefully, i'll be stocked up for the upcoming year????

You grew a lot of bacca last year. How many folks you supplying? (Sounds like an army. LOL)

I just started smokein last years but with 2 of us smokein well smoke most of it. I had a round 50 boxes but didnt weigh it.

You realy have to care about growin baccer to do it more than 1 year. I wonder how many ppl. grow thir own and for how long. I bet by two years the number is very low. It can be heart breakin some times.

I ran out of my baccy rather quick too last year due to various reasons but that why I'm not taking the chance this year and growing 500 plants and I'm gonna make certian sure that I'm here for the whole curing process.

It is a job actually third yr, I do not consider the first year due to it was small and I never cured it right ended up green
I have about 75 pounds or more shredded I hope to last till this crop is ready
My goal is to have enough Baccy to last to the last moments on a oxygen bottle
Then I will be buried in a Coffin lined with Baccy and a couple of cartons of tubes
I don't think I will be needing a rolling device

You got tobacco every where Boboro and is a wonderful site to see.
This is my 1st as you know and I'll bet your 300% right most ppl would not do it past 2 years and many after the 1st year. There is a lot to it for sure.....
