side-note you start seeds in vermiculite..most do peat?

I just use a small bit of vermiculite. On top of the potting soil...so the seed won't get lost in the potting soil.

well i still havent got the other truck in the yard yet.... its hard to save money when you dont have much to go around.

but i havent been sitting around doing nothing... i got the motor all painted up and ready to put it in the truck when it gets here, what you guys think of what ive done to it ?????

well if all goes according to plan i'll have my other truck in the yard next week [ the one im actually going to build,]

..i cant wait... the research ive done is extensive... it's definatlly going to have dual carbs,

i just havent decided if i want to go with the 2 ,,, 1 barrels... or 2 webers,

the 1 barrels will run about $450.00 [ manifold included in both ]
the webers $1.100. 00

i'll proablly go with the 1 barrells,

the main thing im gonna do to this truck is swap the head lights.... and get a different style hood, it's called a '' double bubble hood, '' getting that hood is next to impossible. ive found 2 of them and left a note with my # but no calls yet. thats the good thing about my job. driving that semi ,, i cover a lot of area. and see everything that is tucked in peoples back yards,

heres my datsun i built in the late 90's it caught fire, and burned up.

but im gonna incorporate what i did here, with my apache..... i plan on using the same hood scoop just cutting it down and using 2 of them one on the drivers and passenger side of the hood, thats whay i need the '' double bubble hood''

If it can be found, an Offenhauser 2bbl intake and Webber carb would be my choice on that one.

hell no... thats purple paint....

im having issues with the titles neither truck has a title and neither one of them can be found in the florida database...

one i think was titled in georgia.... but i got a trick up my sleeve with 2 other trucks.. ones in the junkyard and the other is abonded and rotting on some property i deliver to...

perhaps i can trick the state... it shouldnt be this difficult to bring a old truck back to life and get a new title,

Early ones are not required to have a title in most states. A bill of sale is enough to get a tag and insurance.
