Had to stake 40 something of mine Sunday toppled by too much rain. I feel for ya.

Ain't no different up north here
Just hung 6 Turkish too lazy to stake them after putting up about 50 or so plants

grab that plant and give it a little wiggle,,,

if it looks insecure, then stake it,,, today thats what i'll be doing grabbing the plant at the top, giving it a little shake, and possiblly staking it if i think it needs it,

and the ones that dont need a stake, is still getting a mound of soil placed at thir roots for support,,,

Its been a tuff few days. A lot of rain and blowdowns. 3 or 4 plants tied to one siick. Huge suckers and worms. We had rain forcast for today but it looks like it passed us by. Maybe I can get 2 days work done this weekend.

I don't even look out the window any more when a storm hits, watching each plant go down 1 by 1.
I look after it's over a get pissed once.

I guess I through primein leaf. As soon as the dew drys Im cuttin as much stalks as I can.Some will have to be sprayed off. I sprayed BT last nite. Is it ok to hang them? Can I spray them with BT let them dry and hang them right away?

I think so. BT breaks down quickly. As long as you don't smoke it today or tomorrow

I had a long day of stalk cuttin. Interrupid by rain an ppl. droppin by. 20 more plants will fill this shed. Then Ill hang in the open shed and inside it

How is it you are deciding which leaves to take?
Looks like your on your way, I just hate interruption when busy I talk to much an nothing gets done.

If most of the plants got a little yellow its ready. burly plants are a little diffarant. They show yellow before they get big.

It depends on the plant and weather you're for cigars or ciggs. Some plants go at mature and some go at ripe DS will probably tell you which will best for type. Mine I wait for yellowing then if the leaf pops off with a little pressure then I'm ok with it.

nice to see your getting ready to do some cutting, im still a ways off from doing that..

but im also taking leaves as they are yellowing up.

I didnt get to spread out my plantin time and its comein in at one time so hanggin space is going to be a problem.
