My plant are still to small to plant an it has Rained an rained. I have been able to spray Roundup a few times. I know its frownd opon, but Im to old to fight the grass an weeds. Im hopein to get rid of the grass so next year I want need to use as much. Hy small patches has turned in to a large garden.I may have a kid hired to help with the mulchen. I don't think hes ever done any yard work tho.The sun may be a problem for him. The walkin Tractor is still at my brothers shop We had to do a lot or riggin on it but I hopeful it will be usable. Ive throwed a bunch of cash at it.

It's been a rough year, rain, wind and hail. As soon as I get the yard cleaned up some new challenge comes along.

We was born to be challenged. It always gives you a new prospective when the challenge you thought you would be facing changes.

According to the FAQ's, 3 ft. between plants, 4 ft. between rows.

I leave 8' between rows so I can work from my four wheeler. With this wide row spacing, I have grown 12" - 24" between plants with good results. The closer the spacing, the faster they use up the available water and fertilizer. The wide row spacing gives plenty of sunlight to even closely spaced plants.

To your experienced eye, what looks good is probably perfect. In-row spacing is typically 2'. Between-row spacing is 3 to 4', or whatever distance you need to be able to walk through, drive through or get your plow horse through.

There is a formal category of knowledge known as "expert knowledge." A journeyman knows the detailed rules to follow. An expert simply does what seems right, with less ability to explain the rules. When I am learning how to do something new, I carefully observe the details of how I should go about doing it. After a few years, I can't remember exactly how to explain it as well.

Ya'll Check out My Izmir volenteer in my album. I noticed it March 1st 2015 while digging up last year's stumps.
It was real pretty 'til I sideswiped with a four foot tiller behind the tractor; now it only has one side. ready for topping.

Well are you going to try something different this year...from all the other grows??..

Myself I'm gonna be hanging the bacca..on "my" redneck version of a bacca stick...

If all goes right...this experiment I'm gonna do will probably turn out to be the way I cure my bacca..for many grows to come.

Actually they are different. Dolomite has twice( actually it's almost three times) the Magnesium as regular Limestone. An important fact if you are balancing your macro nutrients to include both magnesium and calcium. Also Magnesium has something like twice the potential to raise pH compared to Calcium.
