You guys are growing zombie/Dracula tobacco.

Maybe the root system has become parasitic from some sort of GMO wind blown cross from soy or corn.

Where Jessica at?

One of Alberta's previous premiers once said, (in reference to BSE), "Any self respecting farmer would shoot, shovel, and shut up".

CV,
If your post about BSE refers to bovine spongiform encephalopathy, I'm not sure of how the former Premier's comment relates to Chillard's White Angel Leaf tobacco.

Bob

I thought he was talking about what to do with me after my mind blew.

If the white leaf thing were contagious, it might be wise to prevent the spread until it's known what it is.

I have noticed that the leather of my garden boots is becoming faded. They seemed like a wise purchase at the time I bought them. Now they seem dumber. Can Canadian tobacco be trusted?

Knucklehead probably no longer remembers smoking all the White Angel Leaf that I sent him. Should the CDC be notified?

SHHH, QUIET!!!!! All apart of my plan for world domination...OH...Wait...Big tobacco already has that covered.

On another note. The neighbor plants to my CBAL isn't showing signs of white leaf.

I would like to get Jessicas input on this too and get to the bottom of this.

...And we're canadians up here...of course you trust us ;)

My 3 plants have been harvested. One of the plants was completely white but was a runt. It looked like a Turkish. The other 2 were very big, looking more like a Burley. They were only about 50% white. I have the all white leaves in the kiln, the other ones are still curing. I saved seeds from the all white plant and the 50% white plant. Next year I'll plant 6-12, ( from the all white plant) bag them all and see if I can select for seeds that will yield all white plants.

The Burley that turned white is also in the kiln. It was Yellow Twist Bud. It only grew about 12 inches tall and did not produce a seed head.

I'll get back to you tomorrow. I just was looking over the tobacco I kilned this fall and noticed the White Angle leaf. I'll try it over the weekend.
