I don't mean put them in an oven, but you can reduce humidity and raise temp to avoid risk of rot or mold once the fear of flashing green is gone.
This makes sense. I frog-legged everything and placed my leaves on a seedling heat mat overnight and the box currently reads 16% RH and 84 F. The leaves have gone crispy, so I will purchase some distilled water and bring them back into low case. I do not yet have a kilning operation, so I will have to let the leaves rest in a low case until I can get a Crockpot kiln set up. I assume that during kilning the leaves will take on a more brown color.

I think I’m finding my groove. Mold has ceased to develop. Since I don’t have a kilning operation in place, I have just been keeping my leaves in a pile, reconstructing daily and misting with distilled water to keep them in case. This seems to work. I bought a cheap mister off Amazon that puts out a really fine mist which helps to distribute the moisture as evenly as possible. I want to purchase some vapor-proof bags so that I can keep the leaves in case and let them ferment on a seedling heat mat (albeit at a slower rate than a crockpot kiln would facilitate, but faster than in a 70 F apartment).

Here is most of my yield. I would love some feedback!

The ideal vapor-proof bags are poly nylon laminated 3 mil thick bags. Years ago, splitting the order with another forum member, I purchased these:

I'm not sure if they are available in smaller quantities. An alternative would be large Seal-a-Meal vacuum bags.

Air curing: Hanging
Seco leaves are primed in pairs by tying leaves together with a sewing needle and nylon fishing line such that the adaxial surface of the laminae make contact with one another.

Very nice! Just wondering where do you have the leaves hanging and able to control the humidity? Would like to know your setup
My biggest problem has been to control the humidity to color cure properly.

The leaves were hung to cure in an 8ft x 4ft grow tent. Humidity was controlled using a Levoit humidifier that has a built-in humidistat that I can adjust.
