Yellow twist bud will probably also be thrown in the mix so thats already 4 burleys! For american style cigs, people seem to tell me mostly virginia plus burley n plus an oriental. Yellow twist bud and harrow velvet both come highly recommended as does prilep for oriental. The descriptions for prilep do sound good to me also.

I'm no expert but saw a you tube video of someone picking the yellow leaves and just hang them in the barn to cure them. It was a warmer climate and the barn acted as a kiln with the heat.

You're right, poo...i will have to work it out. I already have seeds for small stalk black mammoth, tennessee burley 90 and standard burley. The rest is up in the air i guess since i dont have the
Homegrown, I like Harrow Velvet as a blend in my cigarettes I blend it with Virginia Gold and Izmir Ozbas around equal amounts of each, I'm not that fussy.
Davo, I have great success with sun curing Virginia Gold I just prime the leaves and hang on the line. They seem to yellow up and dry to a nice golden brown. You can take a leaf straight from the hanger and smoke it. Must be our NZ climate.

Yah do have great climate. You live in town or out in woop, woop?
Harrow velvet is early and mild for a burley but isn't a big producer like other turkeys. Trade offs..

I live on a little sorta peninsula with water on both sides of me, actually a tad below sea level. Only thing that keeps the Ocean out is the stop bank, "sometimes "

It's about 9k to town and we only got 6 houses on our road, all family members. From the old grader down is private road, our driveway.

There's an undeveloped 1 acre lot next door that I would love to pick up eventually...more play room! lol
Should have bought that dirt while you could. They ain't making any more of it and rampant inflation will make it more unaffordable. People are trying to escape the cities. They're bringing their traffic, crime and higher taxes with them. Sheesh.. They're paying any price for a house and all our local labor is working in housing to build the houses. I bought 9 acres, older house, stream dividing the corral and hayfield from the house. Live in a new house in a subdivision with a pitb HOA. Will move when I get the new, old house finished.
Have had to cut a whole bunch of huge, dangerous trees. Rooted a few hundreds of grape vines which will share the bacco area with other fruit.
Working on the kitchen now. Liking the epoxy look on counters. I usually spend 8 months of the year traveling but now it's a pitb so hobby time. Bacca is the current interest..Pioneer times in my world...everything needs work..smiling..

Awesome place to live. The huge influx of foreigners moving into Auckland has really pushed Kiwis. Cities arent my cuppa..You live in a great place where your sister can fish barramundi in the drive..

Beautiful place. I have been trying to track down who owns that lot and it seems to come back to a corporation that doesnt exist. Its crazy. Years before i bought this place, that lot was part of this one. The bank foreclosed or something and split the lot...crazy stuff.

The property appraiser and tax collector offices should still have correct information, just saying!
Check the company name with the Secretary of State for the state of Florida. Corporations should be registered and it would be public information. Should be able to check online.
