Good Bright Leaf Variety for Air curing?

Hope I'm not off-base with this question, but:
Can I get a decent cig smoke with flue-curing Cherry Red, Gold Leaf, Del Gold, Costello - not that I have any objection to air-cure or sun-cure of these Virginia's, just curious.
I did try air-cure Costello a few years ago, not pleased with results.

All the strains cited are well suited for flue curing. I dare to say that those strains were developed with flue cure in mind.
