What Pipe or Pipe Tobacco Did You Smoke Today? [pics]

This morning, I smoked some homemade Red FCV Cavendish in my RDPipes Chubby Author

This pipe belonged to my uncle who passed away a couple years ago. My aunt gave me his pipes and I have started to clean them up and restore them so that I can smoke them. Some are in pretty bad shape with holes in the stem, loose stems, etc. Below is the first pipe that I cleaned up and I got to smoke it for the first time tonight. Not sure of the brand, all that is on it is “Aldgate” on the left side of the stem and “Made in England” and “282F” on the right side. There is also a capital “A” encircled on the stem where it meets the shank. I chose to smoke a bowl of Esoterica Margate. My aunt bought the brass dog pipe stand for my uncle as a gift way back when, she also gave me the stand. Needless to say, this was a very special smoke for me.

Thanks for looking and if anyone has any info on the “Aldgate” pipe please share it with me as I have been unable to find anything on it.

I checked that site out and I still can’t find anything referring to Aldgate. When I search Aldgate all I have been getting is a street in London, England. Thank you for the link, I do appreciate it. Here are a couple close up pics of the markings. I hope I’m not derailing this thread too much. I apologize if I am and the mods can feel free to delete or move this post. Thanks for all the help guys.
