That silver river cured nice. We need to swap some seeds this year. You just put SR on my list.
Workhorse, I agree that is some nice looking leaf. I think Bama had a lot of success his first year. I only have 8 plants this year so I am going to treat next year as my first and I hope I do as well as Bama. I think I would like to grow a few silver river also to blind with Virginia bright and Turkish. Is the silver river as strong as other burleys like TN 90?

not sure how it compares to the tn90 but even straight from flue cure with a day rest it is smooth and mild with nice flavor. Rolled a few cigs 50/50 SR and YTB; very good considering it was green leaf on the plant a week ago. Look forward to adding a little turkish for extra flavor when I get some ready.

Our weather forced my hand on the kiln/flue cure. My first year too. Had no intent of building a curing chamber.I

Modding for better circulation tonight before the second run starts this weekend. Adding a recirculation chimney down the back wall to draw warm moist air from top to bottom. Should make temp and humidity more uniform throughout the kiln. Just hollowed out a piece of my leftover foam board and sealed it to the back wall to created the chimney. PC fan at the bottom to draw air through from the top. Held a lit smoke at the top and watched the smoke to verify it was working. c

Just an old 12v power supply outside the kiln. Leftover from some rechargeable something or other ofyears gone by.v very low power consumption at .3a 12v. A little searching found it has an airflow of 32cfm which for my box means turning the air in the kiln upside down every few minutes. My theory is to simply enhance the natural convection effect that already occurs due to the heat source being at the bottom of the kiln. a
