The only problem with this post is here in my Town "pittbulls" are outlawed due to there agrrisvie behavior dont get me wrong Chicken I love dogs BUT there is trurth behind this banded of Pitts its true the way you raise them {dogs} but theres certain breeds that need to only left for how say? As far as posting signs, I was advised by the Chief Magistrate here to take them all down. The reasoning is that it makes it easier for someone to sue you.

By posting the property, it is generally interpreted in a court as an admission that the dogs are or can be dangerous - and you are obviously aware of the fact by posting signs, which makes you infinitely more liable in a lawsuit.

My dogs are not quite like yours, however they do get a little crazy even when someone drives slowly by the house. That being said, the Magistrate has no problem along with a few other regulars who just drop by on occasion. The dogs will keep all the others in their cars until I am present. I have no fences to keep my dogs in the yard and they have only exceeded their boundaries maybe 3 times in the past 5 years, and only by about 10 to 15 feet, which is still technically on the property.

You might want to check on the legalities on the sign posting issue. When I lived in FL there were people who did not post their property either and I never quite understood why, but now I think I know after the Magistrate gave me a little education.

Cigar, I've got a great Dane/ Rhodesian Ridge back X, both supposed to be docile breeds, but my friend I don`t want to be a stranger in my yard, doesn`t matter what race or colour, man that dog is full of shyte. I never tried to make him aggressive!!! Had a pittbull once, lovely dog, wasn`t aggressive at all, black mamba got him.

yeah.. i was told by animal code enforcement about how the signs i have isnt '' really good for / legal purposes / ]'' but i also have a '' equestrian type sign '' warning of the dogs. instructions on what to do '' honk horn.. ring the 20'' cow bell by the gate [ which stays locked ] and 2 phone numbers,,,,,, and it states if you eneter without a occupant telling you the dogs are secured, the owner assumes no responsibility for what happens

i read the chicks facebook post about this incident..... looks like she had to get 60 stiches and 10 staples,

as far as im concerned she got just what she deserves,,,, i hope her pain keeps her awake at night,

animal control and the health dept. has contacted me and told me thier case is closed concerning the matter,

looks like all '' government '' parties containing this incident are done with it,,,

she was in the wrong... and they arent pursuing the matter any further,

allthough i was told the next time a h.r.s. worker visits my house they will be bringing a police escort with them..

which is fine by me... perhaps he will insist to the worker to give me time to put my dogs up.

i agree, but in this case they really dont have a foot to stand on.... she has been here 4 times, and at the '' board meeting '' they were all told of how '' to eneter my yard'' she took matters in her own hands, and got what she asked for,

Whatever happened to good old fashioned hospitality? That's what I have my house geared up for - if you expect friends then you get friends, that's what my parents taught me. Fair enough - I don't really have anything worth stealing, and if you can actually find my stash of gold on the property then you're either a genius or very lucky! Nobody needs no dangerous dogs!

The thing I'm always reminding my neighbours of is that 'property' as in land is only ever borrowed. How can you possibly really own a piece of the earth? It's all bullshit that the powerful elite use to stay richer than the rest of us. Try to be rich in your life ... but don't use money and property as the yardstick ... happiness every time for me ... and that includes a warm welcome to anyone who visits my house, friend or foe.

it stands for '' health,, resource services '' they are the orginization that has the power to remove your kids from your house if they think they are threatned,

i.m.o. they have way too much power. they can come take your kids from nothing more than a annomous phone call they may recieve..

they act like the law.... the law will arrest you and decide later if it was justified, after youve sit in jail for a while,

and once they take them... it's next to impossible to get them back.

it took me a dozen court apperances and attending some of the most dumbest classes ive ever sit thru. and 8 years to get my kid back... for a charge that was a misdemenor,

and for the next 4 months im under thier microscope... and they can show up at anytime... and call you out of the blue to come take a drug=test....

they are like a parents probation officer,

which is why i think her entering my yard like she did was totally uncalled for, i have nothing to hide. and last week went and took a drug test for them,

now after these 4 months are gone and they close my case, '' then i may have something to hide,,,, and may not be able to pass thier drug test ''
