Those of us living in 'Baccyville remember about 6 years ago we had 3 straight nights with low temps between 26 and 29, in May, which was a record. That April had been so warm we had set out maters and the strawberries were in full bloom or already set. We sure did hustle that year to keep our plants covered by dark and uncovered by 9 am.
Since then I would rather see good cold weather last a little longer and keep things from budding/blooming too fast.
