When I awakened at 7 am this morning, the temperature was 34°F. Fog outside was so dense that I could not see the road (~20 yards away) through my living room window. By 9 am, the temperature was 60°F, the fog was gone, and the sky was as blue as you see it in the photo.
What is a Roly cigar? They are made by Rolando Reyes in the Dominican Republic. It's hard to tell what's inside. The advertising says one thing, and the packaging says another. At ~$1.60 per stick, a customer can't be too choosy. My best guess is that it is a combination of Honduran, Nicaraguan and Dominican filler, wrapped in a Nicaraguan Habano leaf. It is not all long filler, but rather a collection of long scraps.
The draw was nice. Aroma and taste were full-bodied, with some harshness toward the head. Overall, not a bad cigar. One thing that it is lacking is a fancy name, accompanied by multiple, fancy cigar bands and fancy marketing. It's just a cigar.
